MediaKind’s New Approach to Supporting Multiview Streaming Gains Traction
MediaKind CTO Cory Zachman explains how the company has worked with partner Skreens, a supplier of advanced rendering solutions, to create a Multiview streaming platform that Comcast and other unnamed service providers are using to enable consumers to simultaneously view multiple channels of streamed programming on a single screen. Service providers are able to tap any group of programs out of hundreds processed by the MK.10 Multiview solution to create viewing options tuned to day parts, program categories and user preferences.
